The streets of #Rome are reminiscent of August holidays, quiet. The few that wander about do so cautiously as the country-wide decree has imposed new regulations (through at least April 3) to prevent the spread of the #Coronavirus. These new rules have closed schools and public offices, the country’s beloved sites and museums, limited bars and restaurants, banned festivities, funerals and group meetings and imposed strict measures on travel among other things. They may seem harsh but we are taking them very seriously as it is the only way to stop this virus. Instead of being afraid though we are using this as an opportunity to disconnect a bit, read the pile of books next to our bed, indulge in a Netflix series, spend time with our immediate families and most importantly dream up adventures for later this spring. We thank everyone who has reached out with well wishes and we look forward to resuming business as usual as soon as we can! #iomifermo
